Summer Solstice

Our Summer Solstice Gathering has 7 hours of entertainment, end-to-end...including the By The Water Drumming Circle who will sign and drum and story-tell; Carmel and Patricia will warm up the crowd with their talents and humour; Jenny Kanayak will be singing, dancing; Doreen Stevens will be singing and storytelling, and her daughter Aki will be Hoop Dancing for us again this year! The afternoon program will be capped off by the first set of Nedd Kenney, burning some calories and preparing us for a catered Chili Buffet dinner by Stephane of La Cuisine Gimy. His chili was a huge hit last year.

The entire event will be spiritually guided by Traditional Grandfather Gerry Villeneuve and he will be available for you to offer tobacco if you wish to learn traditional teachings. Tobacco offerings will be available to those who do not have offerings of their own . He and his wife, Traditional Grandmother Cathy, have been the backbone of our success in creating Unity in Community. We are beyond grateful in how they nurture us through our personal journeys.
