Walk of Sorrow: National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
Come and walk with us to remember and honour those lost to residential and day schools, and the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG). Wear your Orange Shirt represented Every Child Matters. If you need a T-shirt, you can pick one up at the Clarence-Rockland or Bourget Libraries until the morning of Sept 30th. All proceeds go to future events, programs, operations, and workshops offered by IGCEO.

Originally and still colloquially known as Orange Shirt Day (French: Jour du chandail orange), this is a day of memorial to recognize the atrocities and multi-generational effects of the Canadian Indian residential school system. All welcome to join us for the walk.
